Supporting Canadian University Sports

Krown believes that amateur sports, like fresh produce, are part of a healthy lifestyle. Krown sponsors various Canadian Interuniversity Sports including:

Krown Safe Contact Initiative

Krown Safe Contact Initiative was created in August of 2017 to promote player safety and to improve the way athletes train and compete by the use of “Mobile Virtual Players” (MVPs). MVPs were commercially launched in January of 2017 as the only powered training devices that replicate an in-game experience by simulating the size, weight and agility of an athlete. Resembling an ordinary tackling dummy from the outside, but defying its ordinary appearance with its mobility, its self-righting, and its ability to be controlled remotely.

Krown MVP

As part of Krown’s initiative, MVP’s are donated on the condition that all levels of community football as well as USports football can utilize the positive benefits. So, while they may be placed with the most senior team in a city, all levels of community football have access to use them. To date ten MVPs have been put to work reducing injuries and concussions with the following organizations, Football Saskatchewan, the University of Saskatchewan Huskies, UBC Thunderbirds, Manitoba Bisons, Calgary Dinos, Alberta Golden Bears, Edmonton Minor Football and the Regina Rams with the additional MVPs to be placed with grass roots football around Western Canada.
